Founded in 2017 by Mr. Khan, Atthis is a US based global healthcare company providing critical medical supplies worldwide. Atthis and its partner companies provide ventilators, masks, gloves, testing kits, and hospital linens to healthcare groups. Atthis’ manufacturing division is producing vaccines in the fight against local and global viruses to help stem the spread of infections.

Akthar A Khan

Akhtar A Khan is the Chairman of Atthis and has more than 25 years of experience in the developing, sponsoring and owning a number of Power Plants and Energy Infrastructure projects worldwide. Mr. Khan has successfully developed more than 3,200 MW of power plants globally.  His experience includes the development of coal-fired, combined cycle, hydro and renewable power plants.  Mr. Khan also brings number of years of experience with project finance and non-recourse financing.


In 2001 Mr. Khan bought the vision of the Group to the United States.Mr. Khan is Chairman and CEO of GVEP and Khanjee Holding, Inc.  Khanjee is a unique U.S based private entity that specializes in the investment and development of infrastructure and other complex and large-scale projects globally.  Mr. Khan is considered to be among just a handful of highly experienced and accomplished infrastructure developers in the power generation and infrastructure business, and among the pioneers of non-recourse finance.  Under his dynamic leadership, Khanjee joint venture projects continue to progress and make their mark on both the U.S and global energy sector. 

Mr. Khan is a Barrister by training, from the prestigious Lincoln’s Inn (UK).  He also has a Master’s degree in Banking & Corporate Planning from Harvard University. 

Ken Traenkle

Ken Traenkle heads Corporate Affairs and Marketing at Atthis. 

Ken is a recognized expert in commercial and investment real estate. He is among an elite corps of just 9,000 professionals throughout 30-plus countries who hold the CCIM designation. Ken’s past experiences and knowledge make him an invaluable resource to commercial real estate owners, investors, and users.

Ken consults in the areas of financial modeling and acquisition evaluation. While with past companies, he advised clients in the areas of acquisition, feasibility, client relations, budgeting, operating expense analysis and control, real estate tax, insurance reviews, capital improvements, equity structuring, lease analysis and market awareness.

He has materially participated in over 700 commercial real estate transactions and brings both a big picture perspective and a hands-on approach to day-to-day operational issues. This experience drives an impressive track record of increasing the profitability of various properties and projects under his stewardship.

Ken has led a team of 15 commercial real estate brokers as vice president and manager for Randall Hagner, the respected Washington, DC-based real estate firm. At Randall Hagner, he was consistently the top producer.

In addition to his real estate-related expertise, Ken also possesses a unique blend of entrepreneurial marketing, sales, analytical and operations experience. He developed these skills while serving as vice president of sales and vice president of strategic development at Cadbury Schweppes, Snapple Beverages and Nantucket Nectars.

Javaid Laghari, PhD

Dr. Javaid Laghari is Advisor to Atthis and has served in six key positions in the last 35+ years. Previously he was Chairperson of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, with the status of Federal Minister. He has also served as Senator in the Pakistan Parliament, and as Commissioner at the Ministry of Education, UAE. He was also the Coordinator General of COMSTECH, the OIC Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technology Cooperation – which is the organization of OIC comprising S&T Ministers of 57 Islamic Countries. He has previously served as the founding President of a leading private university SZABIST, and tenured full Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Director of Space Power Institute at SUNY Buffalo.

Dr. Laghari has published over 120 research papers and presented over 70 papers at International Conferences. He has delivered over 37 keynote lectures, including at The Clinton School of Public Service, The Brookings Institution, Woodrow Wilson International Center, The School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), The European Union Parliamentary Conference and the Conference of the OIC Ministers of Higher Education & Scientific Research. His lecture at the Clinton School (out of 1000 lectures so far) is the 3rd most watched program online. Dr. Laghari is author of four books, including his first fiction-thriller “Ifrit” which is currently under consideration for film production.

Dr. Laghari is listed in the American Men and Women of Science, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, Who’s Who in the East and Who’s Who in the World.
